Xiaomi will give HyperOS to the unsupported models!

Xiaomi officially revealed the HyperOS system with the announcement it made in recent weeks. Although no official launch has been made yet, the models that will receive HyperOS have started to arouse curiosity. Finally, Xiaomi CEO said that the Mi 10 series, whose support has ended, will be updated to this system.

HyperOS update for Xiaomi Mi 10 series

The Chinese manufacturer is no longer supporting the Mi 10 series, which it launched in 2020. This means the devices won’t receive security and new Android upgrades. But things could change with HyperOS.

Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun, who announced that the Mi 10 series will upgrade to the new operating system; Mi 10, Mi 10 Pro, Mi 10 Ultra and Mi 10S users were also able to rejoice. Since the phones were not in the official update program, it also created a surprise.

Removing a Threads profile also requires deactivating Instagram. However, Meta is expanding the Threads account deletion feature.

Xiaomi CEO also stated that they aim to eliminate uncertainties about updates with the new operating system. With this move, the manufacturer underlined that users will be able to benefit from their devices for longer.

HyperOS aims to improve performance, stability and security compared to the MIUI interface. It will be officially unveiled with the Xiaomi 14 launch on October 26.

On the other hand, the company has given some users in China access to an early beta version of HyperOS. The screenshots revealed how HyperOS’ revamped design will look like compared to the company’s MIUI interface.
